    David has spent over 20 years sparking growth for a variety of FMCG and lifestyle brands. Previously at Mind The Gap and McCann Erickson in London and Bristol, his wealth of strategic communications and branding experience led him to set up The Space Creative in 2006.

  • Jo Lynn, Agency Director

    With over 25 years in market research and marketing roles, Jo brings a breadth of experience to our team, having held senior positions within FMCG businesses and agencies including CBJWT. She joined The Space in 2013 to be the strategic lead across our client base.

  • Charlotte Maiden, Senior Designer

    After being in the design industry for almost a decade, Charlotte understands what is needed to create successful, standout branding and packaging design. She has worked on a variety of FMCG brands both in the UK and Australia including McVities and Knorr.

  • Sylvia Dougan, Senior Designer

    With a varied background in retail, packaging, and branding, Sylvia has over 14 years of experience in the design industry, having worked for a wide range of clients and agencies, from independent businesses to established global companies.

  • Caroline White, Account Lead

    Having worked both agency and client side, Carly has a deep understanding of brand/product development, from strategy to shelf. With 25+ years in FMCG, key clients include PZ Cussons, Yeo Valley, Elemis, Boots, and many challenger brands.

  • Rebecca Allan, Account Lead

    With over 14 years of marketing and event management experience, Rebecca was previously Head of Marcomms at Matthew Clark where she was the strategic lead on all internal and external comms including social media, digital, and print.

  • Ella Shenton, Junior Account Exec

    Ella supports our busy studio whilst attending the University of Birmingham where she is studying for a degree in Digital Media and Communications.

  • Daniela Barrera, Strategy & Innovation Lead

    Daniela first worked with Jo over 25 years ago and has been our go-to partner in strategy & innovation since 2015. She brings over 20 years experience in international brand, innovation, and communications strategy having held global management positions for Leo Burnett and Publicis. She has worked with brands including Ferrero, Danone, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Coca-Cola and Diageo.

  • Helen Davies, Senior Planner

    Helen has worked with ad agencies and clients such as Diageo, Coca-Cola, The Telegraph, Weetabix, and BT specialising in brand strategy and creative development research. Previously a Strategy Director at TBWA\Manchester she has led the planning on a wide range of FMCG and retail clients such as Seven Seas, Carex, Sudocrem, UpBeat Drinks, and Pact Coffee.

    Glenn has over 28 years’ experience in the creative and advertising industry working on a variety of FMCG brands. Previously at CheethamBell (JWT) and BBDO New York, Glenn brings his multi-skilled approach to every project. He thrives on all things technical and has a keen eye for layout and excellent attention to detail.

    Annette has over 20 years of experience in retail, packaging, branding, illustration, and shopper marketing. She has worked on the core creative of campaigns and national promotions for brands including Diet Coke, Oral B, and Dove.

    Christelle is a highly experienced copywriter and creative. Skilled in digital strategy, script writing, art direction, and copywriting, Christelle has worked with David for nearly 20 years.

    A chartered accountant, Laura has 15 years of experience working with SMEs across a variety of sectors including creative agencies, live events, and tech. Whilst we are busy helping our clients to grow, Laura is busy making sure The Space stays in good shape too.
